What a weird movie. On one hand you have some very solid camera movements, some fun action, some honestly great emotional moments, and of course the dance scene. But at the same time you have an insanely messy script that juggles around around 5 different plot points and 3 different villains, terrible effects, very weird acting and line delivery's, and some weird pacing at times too. Overall its a mess, but an entertaining mess at least.
I would make a genuine review talking about every problem but not only is there a problem in every frame of this film, but this film is just not worth ranting over. (Also the live action films are shit too so it wasn't like I was going in with high expectations anyway) I will say this though...this may have the worst voice acting have seen in any big studio animated film ever.
Yeah forget the Her review, this will always be my favorite film. I love every single thing about it and of course knowing me I have to give it a personal review like always...so here we go.
I have been feeling very lonely and depressed for the past few weeks and never really talk about it in detail to everyone. And today was one of the most depressing days for me, I cried in my bed a few times and…
Rewatched with Mom, she liked it but she also said she would never watch it again. WHAT THE CUSS, MOM!
Also this and Grand Budapest are now very close in my Wes Anderson ranking but for right now Grand Budapest is still my favorite. I hope to rewatch that one with her too before we see The French Dispatch. Overall fantastic.
