Terminator, as a franchise, has been very hit or miss with people. For me personally, I feel like we got two great films, one pretty good one that get unfairly maligned, and two rather forgettable ones. Dark Fate is honestly a pretty solid film. It respects the source material while also trying to tell its own story, gives us a cast that feels fairly likable, and once more makes us care about a killer robot dad. I could've done without the shock death in one particular scene, but overall I'd say it's the third best Terminator film. So, I guess we've got four films in the franchise worth remembering now, yes?
