    As if a lame Damon Wayans, Jim Brewer comedy team-up script was left ignored in a drawer for 15 years, and then got pulled out to meet a deadline.

    Still, the bar has been lowered so much for comedy since those days, I actually watched Let's Be Cops and didn't mind it, despite a very low effort presentation, simply because it wasn't any worse than recent ones I've seen.

    How low effort? A sideplot takes us to a videogame announcement…

    If you've ever seen a comedy so aware of its own lack of humor that somebody decided to pave over the final edit with jam music to suggest entertainment where it isn't really there, you've seen Miss & Mrs. Cops.

    Characters alternate between way too competent to be believed (She can hack the city by rubbing her hands across a keyboard really fast) and way too incompetent to be believed (assault of mistaken identity suspect each fifteen minutes of screen time).…
