I apologize in advance for how long this is.

I haven't watched a new movie in over a week. For months, I consistently watched one or two movies a day. Even if I was busy with work or school, I found the time because I love cinema. While I am currently busy with school, I've still had some free time that I would normally devote towards watching movies, but I haven't. I can't bring myself…

Avoid this movie. There are historical inaccuracies all the way through. It's well made but this apparently is loosely based on The Accidental Billionaires which the bits Fincher and Sorkin took are widely DEBUNKED. The final minutes of the movie showcase Fincher's lack of care for history, Mark Zuckerberg, and total obsession with artistic interpretation. Every single line she delivers is in the exact same manner and somehow she had more…

    #Cannes2019

Saw this at its official world premiere with the lads Robert Eggers, Robert Pattinson, and Willem Dafoe in attendance!! I know that I have a lot of other Cannes reviews to catch up on, but I feel as though I need to prioritize this one the most, since many of you all may have been anticipating this film as much as I have.

Hands down the best new film that I've seen at Cannes on my trip easily, and…

Derek Cianfrance is one of the best we have. Why don't we talk more about him in terms of filmmakers that emerged in the 2010s?
