Such charm in this cult-classic, which was the first time I'd seen it in HD. I didn't really grow up with old school monster movies (I was definitely the Freddy/Jason/Jason generation) but when you've got a great script from Shane Black and Fred Dekker, it doesn't matter. "Wolfman's got nards!". 80's comedy gold.
Lots of people have referred to this as the 80's horror version of The Goonies and that's about as accurate a description as you can get. In fact a double-screening is ideal if you want some 80's squad goals inspiration.
Special mention also goes out to Bradford May's gorgeous cinematography and Duncan Regehr as Dracula.
