    Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

The only good thing about this movie is that it is the last one...hopefully.

I did enjoy the first one, but this series has become repetitive and cliche. This is action, not horror and it's about as entertaining as watching someone play a video game. Well, a video game with lazy CGI and ridiculous old age makeup.

Also, who wrote this bullshit? Seriously, how many times can they make Alice say, "is that all you've got in one movie?"

Unless you're a die-hard fan of the movie franchise, skip it.

    Despicable Me 3

My son loves these movies, but after Minions I figured it was all downhill from there--especially after seeing the trailers! However, I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Trey Parker was hilarious and the 80s soundtrack was awesome. Also, the minions get far less screen time in this one, so bonus!

If you have kids, check this one out!

Minutes into this I wanted to turn it off. I can handle gross-out humor but this was well over my limit: dude eating a tampon, zombie rapists, shit, vomit, and piss in a non-stop rotation.

Hell, I thought Greasy Strangler was hilarious and charming so believe me when I say that this is too much.

To add insult to injury, the acting, writing, cinematography and direction are abmismal.

It's like this was written by a gang of teenage boys raised…

    The Mummy

Remember those Abbot and Costello movies where they'd meet Universal monsters--well this is like that only it's Tom Cruise Meets The She Mummy. Just Tom Cruise doing his usual action movie shtick and a woman with way too many pupils that is supposed to be a mummy. Listen Universal, you can go scary or you can go sexy, but you can't have both. Not in a creature feature.

Anyhow, to sum it up, The Mummy is exactly what it looks like. Loads of bad CGI, one note characters and Tom Cruise running.

This "dark universe" is off to a rough start indeed.
