I’ve seen this movie more times than I can count and I’m still not sick of it. The cast is amazing and the humour flows effortlessly, all while taking itself just seriously enough to still be considered an action movie of sorts. God, if you haven’t seen this movie yet what are you waiting for?

Although some scenes made me sigh and wish there wasn’t so much filler in the movie, there were definitely a lot more well done scenes to make up for it. It was horror, camp, comedy, an alright mix and everything I expected from the sequel. Despite my qualms with the script, the casting decisions were perfect and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Don’t make a sequel unless you have a new and worthwhile story to tell” is not a lesson Brad Bird needs to learn, because at this point he’s set the standard.
Well balanced in comedy, action and drama, beautifully animated and the environmental design was GORGEOUS. Damn, my animator heart is singing.
When’s the third one coming out?

A beautiful, simple story; As always, the Coen brothers really know what they’re doing.
Oscar Isaac is absolutely phenomenal as an actor and I could honestly listen to him sing forever.
