hanatha’s review published on Letterboxd:
this miniseries was very hard to watch and i had some many different emotions watching them but the main ones were sadness and anger.
sadness because of what these boys had to endure at such a young age and anger at how fucked our criminal justice system was and still is today.
i had no clue about the central park five but i’m glad i do and i’m glad they’re free today and are living better lives.
if you haven’t watched it, please do. the episodes are hard to get through yes and i cried a shit ton but in the end, this story is so important and deserves to be seen.
also the young boys? all of them are fucking amazing
