Had a great time with it. I watched it alongside the 1993 film as a duology and I enjoyed them for different reasons. The old film took the basic premise and characters of the game to make its own weird thing. This one, in a way, it's trying to be its complete opposite. Bizarre? Yes. Good? Also yes.
I donβt give a shit that the film is not lore accurate. Actually, the only Mario games Iβve played for over an hour are Super Mario Bros. (1985) and Super Mario Bros. 3 (1988).
I absolutely loved Bob Hoskins as Mario, a macho man with a heart of gold. Luigi is whatever, it really bothers me that he doesnβt have his mustache. Thatβs the only inaccuracy I wonβt stand for. But they have a veryβ¦

Jurassic World Dominion 2022
A great conclusion to both trilogies, I had so much fun. Thereβs tons of cute dinos and great action and suspense scenes. Itβs probably the best written entry in the franchise since the second film. I was not bothered by any fanservice, or by the locust plotline.
The original trio is back together after almost 20 years, and the tone of the films has changed so much since then that it felt a bit surreal, butβ¦

Urban Legend 1998
Very late 90βs slasher, which is a good thing, itβs the best kind. I enjoyed the no bullshit attitude of the final girl, and the rest of the main cast is good too (Sadly Jared Leto is also here). The concept of someone killing people imitating urban legends is really cool and most of the deaths are interesting and memorable. The red herrings and the killer reveal worked well. I canβt think of many negatives except for some lame jumpscares.β¦
