Oh God...Oh God...okay what to say...
I LOVED the cinematography, Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz all deserve acting Oscars (but mostly Olivia Colman), Yorgos Lanthimos was SUPREME!
The first act and the first half of the second act were some of the most fun in a film I've ever had. The second half of the second act and the third act were some of the most stressful minutes I've ever spent in a film. Up there with the stressfulness of Uncut Gems, Whiplash, and Good Time. I also loved Nicholas Hoult in this.
That last scene/shot was probably the most terrifying scene/shot I've ever seen. Made me scared and depressed.
I need to see more from Lanthimos, and I need to recover from that ending. Power is a crazy thing.
