Letterboxd — Your life in film

Probably gonna be a huge ass defining touchstone for a lot of my 11 year old daughter's generation.

Lovely.

Half Eastern European folk horror movie, half train possessed by The Devil movie, half untranslated runaway train movie.

Tense and atmospheric but frustratingly vague and a little slow despite its short runtime.

The supreme vagueness leads the film to feel sort of hollow rather than haunting.

I anticipated not liking this and was honestly quite pleasantly surprised. Fun!
