One of the more uncomfortable viewing experiences I’ve had, but lucky for me, I was into it!
Dogtooth was funny yet extremely disturbing (in true Lanthimos fashion). A story about a three adult children being kept in isolation by their parents through fear tactics, it really makes you think about the lengths people will go through to get some sort of power, even as going as far as manipulating the people that love them the most. It also makes you think about the things we take for granted, like having a name or being able to watch a movie.
I loved the dancing scene, and ugh, that ending. Yorgos’ endings get me every time.
