Possessor is gorgeous and everything you could ask for in a body-horror film. The entire experience was simultaneously stomach-churning and mesmerizing. The sci-fi aspects were unorthodox, yet strangely relatable in the feeling of being out of control of your actions and emotions, and of simply being guided through life. Andrea Riseborough and Christopher Abott carried the film the entire way. Even through a few poorly paced scenes, their performances were always magnetic.
