What started out as a spontaneous rewatch initiated with the though of "Oh, Kittridge is coming in the next film, why not" became a completely different experience that left me transformed. I am someone else, a different person so to say. I am De Palma-pilled.

It's all about the little things... paranoia, visceral tension through drops of sweat, people holding information to themselves until the very last moment. I love John Woo's over-the-top Bondist Ethan Hunt; I love JJ Abrams'…

F9 retcons my favourite film from the franchise, so a low rating.

Cinema as junk food. This franchise has evolved, amplified, regressed, and transformed over its 20 years run, but it never gave up on one thing: interesting action concepts executed in real locations. That's unfortunately rare today.

The biggest takeaway is that the flashback sequence is so good that it can be its own film. Looks a ton better than the other parts too! Shake things up a little, rebrand it under a different name, and that's a different movie that would be a welcome addition to the sparse motorsport genre!

not just an excellently made blockbuster, but an EXPERIENCE. chad stahelski and the crew proved the original film was not a lightning caught in a bottle. they proved it again, and again, again, with even bolder and expansive set pieces.

one thinks "surely they must have run out of ideas, right?" after 3. no one prepares you for the stuff in 4.

men beating each other senselessly in costumes are tanking, meanwhile well-crafted blockbusters are becoming hits one after another. MOVIES ARE SO FUCKING BACK.

Fantastic. I come back to this at least once in every year. An important piece of mainstream cinema was put on display with full transparency. It's even on YouTube.

    It's heartbreaking seeing…

Logging this in (pre-)pre-season finale because I'm already in love with this work. Finest piece of Star Wars since The Last Jedi. At last, we have tangible characters with real goals and feelings that feel authentic within the worldbuilding that Dan Gilroy created. It's been so long to have that.

The Spainards are so despicable in this that they made me side with a French... Nutkum tutuldu diyebilirim. Festivali bu filmle başlatmak çok iyi bir karar.
