Declan’s review published on Letterboxd :
Brought this for £2.99, alongside a brilliant Bluetooth pair of Skullcandy headphones at HMV. It was a rushed decision but I felt like I should watched this a bit more. So it made up for watching it less than four years after its original broadcast. Beautiful film-style direction by Danny Boyle and beautiful music by Underworld, with the standout guests being Emeli Sande and Mike Oldfield. All beautiful and watchable all over again, although I skipped the flag parade as I prefer to watch it live. Shame that people seemed to dislike Paul McCartney at the end of the live broadcast, including my own mother.
