I never noticed how much Joanna Hogg borrows from Rohmer until now, and that makes a lot of sense.
I never connected to any Eric Rohmer film except for 1 or 2, and it makes a lot of sense why I don't understand Hogg's works as well.
Wasn't a fan of the first film but it was divisive anyways, thought I'll like part 2 as it is critically acclaimed and loved by many but alas didn't even connect a bit to the film and my mind was hazy throughout.
