Despite how terrible most of this movie is, the final few minutes actually deliver. Had managed to avoid hearing Killswitch Engage until now. TEAM JASON

Altman worship drenched in super cringey lounge music. I was annoyed by the heavy handedness and malaise of it all, but was surprised at how invested I ended up being in the characters. I also laughed a bit, not totally sure if it was with or at it. You can't keep Sissy and Harvey down, and Geraldine Chaplin is amazing.

A bit slow and I even dozed a lil, but I love an abandoned town, and it's all about those guts

Atmospheric slow burner with lots of cool witch shit and multiple amazing wordless performances. Grabbed hold of me in a way I didnt expect a few minutes in.

Also, going to the movies in the afternoon and being the only people there is my favorite thing

Still hits hard, but on this go round I felt like it's laughing at the characters a bit too hard.

For some reason this 2x Corey Unrated erotic "thriller" called to me. But it's one of the least eventful movies of all time

Picked this up during a Rutger Hauer spree, but may have just not been in the right mood for this Ultimate Third Wheel movie.

Like to imagine that scheduling the stars at the same time was a nightmare so they just wrote the whole script around that.

William Castle spiritual biopic + Joe Dante's brand of bittersweet sentimentality + 60's nostalgia made in the 90's + John Goodman and Dick Miller = Absolutely my shit

Really liked the setup, all the main characters, and thought the sound design was really good. Tobe Hooper references galore, and wasn't too bugged by that. I just didn't like the whole second half very much. Guessing I would've liked it way more if they used actually older actors, even though I get that's kinda the point, or if I were just more scared of old people?
