Kudos to the Prince Charles as well for screening the film on the date that the action unfolds onscreen.

A beautiful and visceral portrayal of a people whose neighbour regards as being less than human.

If only the story in this film was as tightly written as the songs it features on its soundtrack.

surprisingly, it took me 21 years to see this film. Thank God for the BFI.

The worst, and most boring, 'horror' movie I've seen in years - and I'm including The Curse Of La Llorna. I didn't expect much, but it failed to deliver anything at all. It was like a YA film, and I cannot understand for the life of me how it warrants a 15 certificate. Avoid.

Always good to see a film that features Elvis Costello on its soundtrack.

Jarmusch didn't have the stomach for the gore, and I certainly didn't have it for the postmodernism. Quite liked the tone, though.
