This film simultaneously cured my phobia of clowns and made me pine for them instead so there's that~
Dark Tower aside, this truly has been the year for King adaptions. 'IT: Part One' is a wonderfully crafted tale from start to finish; Muschietti couldn't have chosen a better cast if he tried. It's also a testament to a good director; he knows his source material (and with a work that's over 1000 pages long, even condensing it into two films is no easy task but he brings out the absolute best parts in the tale with ease), and he knows how the get the most out of his actors and scenes. He's someone I hope that Hollywood take more notice of.
