Not a fan at all. It felt way too long for what it had to say, which is not a good sign in a 90 minutes movie. The last third was incredibly predictable and not the least bit tense. The acting was one of the few redeeming qualities: the kids were pretty funny in the beginning and Bacon was fun to watch. I think this would have been better as a short film.
Kind of a strange movie, and not at all what I expected. I knew the body count was low but I didn't expect the central conflict to be so...meaningless? I actually had a hard time rooting for Rambo. And I think the end monologue actually made it worse? It felt like a too-little-too-late attempt to give the film some weight and depth after 90 minutes of reverse Predator gun romping. The action itself was fine. In the end I just can't quite tell what it was going for though.
I didn't come in with the highest of hopes but I think I still left disappointed.
