    Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin

Forgot this was a Paranormal Activity at times honestly, the constant sound effects reminded me tho

It’s like you guys are playing checkers, and I’m playing chess.”

Didn’t have to watch this movie to know rich people are some of the most manipulative gaslighting group ever.

  • Fear Street: 1666

    Fear Street: 1666

I think Fear Street Part Three: 1666 is one of the best horror movies to come out in recent memory (as a part of a 3 pt movie series)

    Elaborate on that

    No I won’t

  • A Classic Horror Story

    A Classic Horror Story

I would have been way more impressed if this came out before Cabin In the Woods, and Midsommar. It wears its influences on its sleeve and all these are great individually but this movie doesn’t go far enough with their concepts to really give it much depth past the initial first watch.

  • Luca

Simple compared to the huge bombastic overly produced movies that have been produced in the past. Beautiful animation, great music and surprisingly the last scene really got to me. I cried until after the credits started :’  (Specifically when Alberto and Luca talk to each other right before the movie ends)

  • Drag Me to Hell

    Drag Me to Hell

Bought the Unrated/Director’s cut edition and after all these years damn… this movie still gets to me. I will probably have nightmares about 80% of this movie and honestly most horror movies nowadays want what Drag Me to Hell has. Sure the jumpscares aren’t great but thankfully they aren’t all of the movies horror. If you can watch this movie straight faced I’m scared of you. *Slight spoiler* One of those movies that doesn’t have a happy ending and damn it if I don’t wish it was somehow different every time

    10 Cloverfield Lane

Damn that ending shot though… sad that this great movie got The Cloverfield Paradox as a sequel -_- wish we got a pt 2 even though it doesn’t need one and we are far too inundated with sequels nowadays

  • Jacob's Ladder

    Jacob's Ladder

The first half in my opinion grabbed my attention much more than the last half and it was kinda predictable but that doesn’t make it less enjoyable. The pacing is done great and the two hours went by faster than I would have thought. Gonna show this to anyone who wants to join any branch of the military.

Edit: I also remembered how much different scenes in this move reminded me of the Silent Hill franchise. The games NOT the movies.

  • The Skin I Live In

    The Skin I Live In

*Trigger warning* There are MULTIPLE r*pe scenes that are VERY lengthy. I haven’t even finished the movie and already I fucking hate it. So distasteful the good parts are far outweighed by this GIGANTIC con. I sure wish I could look at scenes like this in a different light but it’s just so disgusting. And I DO NOT find this scary it just makes me hate the human race more.

Edit: after reading other reviews it has come to my…

Truly masterful. Had me laughing my ass off in one moment, then gasping in surprise in the next, and it all flows amazingly. It has such great foreshadowing that I’m excited to rewatch soon. Instant. Classic.

Watched the "Uncut" or the "Directors cut" blu ray and overall it felt more cohesive and impactful. Glad to finally own this gem <3
