I'm not gonna lie, after this film ended and after my mind went blank for about 15 minutes, I immediately looked up "Does Mulholland Drive even make sense?"
I've been speechless after many films, but I've never been speechless, with my mouth wide open, completely still, and somehow shaking and all of that. I might be overreacting, but I don't care, there's no way a film that's two and a half hours long felt so fucking short, I really wanted more.
I'm not even gonna bother to say anything about the story, being fully aware I don't know what to say and I don't understand it, it was just one of the greatest experiences I've had. And it probably doesn't make sense, but hell, who cares? Not my personal favourite, but this might be the greatest film ever made.
And of course Naomi Watts and Laura Harring were ridiculously great.
