This is so unique in that it is such an interesting story to a specific niche of people. It doesn’t even try to be accessible. It’s truly for those interested in its subject matter and it’s entirely dedicated on that promise. A rare gem.

Dune 2021
I have this vivid memory from childhood where I am sitting atop the jungle gym in my communities playground reading Dune. I must have been in 3rd grade because the following year we moved to a different community. I remember having no idea what the hell was going on because it was way above my reading level and yet forcing myself to keep reading until the worm showed up — just so I could go deeper into the imaginary scenario…
