A very unique film that I surprisingly don't have a lot to say on. There's a wide array of subjects that August in the Water touches on, and it does it in such a way that doesn't really provide answers but more a vibe to contemplate many things on. It can be a lot to digest but I generally had a great time watching this. The dream-like atmosphere is truly unique and once it sucks you in, it's hard to not watch the rest of the film in a trance. I also loooved the soundtrack, really is a big component of what makes the atmosphere work. The story and how it progresses is also very satisfying, it reminded me of Pulse but pulled off without any of the cringe.
It's a shame this is only available to watch in 440p max. The visuals deserve better quality.
