So much to process. A science fiction , queer bodies, shifting consciousness,  protest musical. Fascinating. Glad I got to see it on a big screen.

Such a wonderful duet. Emma was absolutely masterful.

  • Zero Fucks Given

A slow burn, for sure, but deeply resonant. I definitely want to see more of Adèle Exarchopoulos!

  • Hit the Road

So much joy given the circumstances, but I can't think of a better way to live.

  • Taming the Garden

    Taming the Garden

    ★★★★

Unexpectedly profound. Some absolutely gorgeous images I would love to hang on my walls.

  • The Batman

    The Batman

    ★★★★

I would have liked this even more if it was about 40 minutes shorter. The Riddler probably could have written one less letter to the batman, one less meeting at the beacon, and the car chase with the penguin could have been saved for the next movie.
The acting was VERY good for a comic book movie. Especially Dano, Farrell, & Kravitz. Pattinson was pretty kick ass as well, I loved that his screen time was 90% the Batman and 10% Bruce Wayne.

  • Strawberry Mansion

    ★★★★

So wonderfully bizarre, it's  hemorrhaging creativity.

"We fell in love. And one night we turned into beets and had a front row seat to the first dinner we ever shared."

"And Fuck You for making me like Taylor Swift."

Troye Sivan is so damn adorable.

  • Chinatown

    Chinatown

    ★★★★

Dunaway & Nicholson were on fire. Their chemistry, charisma, and presence is undeniable.
    BUT...
I'm not a fan of the ending, like at all. Which was such a shame.

  • Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom

Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom

    ★★★★

Yeah. I knew what was coming, but I definitely shed some unexpected tears. A heartwarming and kind film.

  • Ascension

    Ascension

    ★★★★

That was the longest satisfying video ever. At first I wasn't sure I could stick with it, but then it became almost meditative. So bizarre, so beautiful.

  • Little Girl

    Little Girl

    ★★★★

The closing dance melted my heart. A very simple story, but one that must be so difficult to navigate in real life. What a strong little girl. I'm a better human after watching this.
