Truly one of the most important films I have seen of the past decade. The direction of Barry Jeakins has a great sensitivity to the emotional and intimate story told. Beautifully shot by James Laxton, the touching seascapes are a visual beauty that complements the beauty of the story. The color palette has a cool shade of touching blue color. I saw this movie last night and today I couldn't stop thinking about how perfect the movie is. At the cinema, I was so enamored and happy to be seeing the movie that I cried with emotion.
