Spencer is een interessante take op het britse koningshuis. Heel mooi om naar te kijken en dat is ook de reden dat ik deze film geen 3/10 geef. Maar ik had t gevoel dat Diana zo overwritten (en soms ook overacted) was in vergelijking met de andere personages, wat het awkward maakte. Er  gebeurde simpelweg te weinig om me echt t gevoel van stress te geven. En ik snap niet waarom maggie haar liefde moest verklaren ineens.

edgar wright thought he made a poignant critique on nostalgia and the repressing of trauma but really he made a film for the indie tumblr girlies who developed a superiority complex at age 15 because they listened to the kinks once and got obsessed with Suspiria and Jenny from Gossip Girl and they made up semi-problematic self-insert superwholock fanfics in their heads before going to sleep. its me im girlies
