One of the best experiences I have ever had.
Seeing Satantango on the big screen in a sold out theater (the crowd was over 300) for 7 1/2 hours straight (with two 15 minutes breaks) was absolutely the best choice I could make for this Saturday. And meeting the director, Bela Tarr, himself was the cherry on top!

Satantango is 7 1/2 consecutive hours of utter brilliance. Scene after scene it kept on impressing me more and more. Every frame tells a story and together they make an absolute masterpiece of a huge size.

Also hearing Bela Tarr talk about the film after it ended made this film as a whole for me. The way he spoke about the choices he makes and how his process for making films work is so interesting and very inspiring.
