The King's Choice ★★★★

Shout out to my Grandma for telling me about a 'Norwegian film about World War 2 on BBC4 tonight'. I really enjoyed this, and found it educational - even though I've been to Oslo (and could recognise some of the locations) I was not aware of this episode of the country's history. The watchtower scene at the start of the film was stirring, and I liked how the film focuses on just three days. I also like the characterisation, though I wonder how accurate some of it was - the royal family come across very sympathetically, which may well be accurate, but some of it feels like artistic licence.
