    It's a Sin

An all around stunning piece of television. Deftly oscillates between newly found sexual freedom & unadulterated joy of youth to the devastating impact of the AIDS epidemic, how uncontrollable it was. So many wonderful actors given the license to be expectional, all the members of the Pink Palace, stunning actors. It’s very easy to see, how so many still see HIV/AIDS that the shame, stigma and fear around it are very much sadly apart of the discussion and lives of so…

    Remember. Don’t regret.

Awe inspiring. I was skeptically if a film about a painter falling in love with an ex-nun, would be anyway interesting. But it was so moving and beautifully shot that I came to love the scenes where she painted and the care it takes.

Period pieces that focus on two women falling for each other, usually brings, in some sense time period appropriate shame. It was more trepidation of and considering the others feelings than shame and it felt so freeing to watch. I just adore it.

Come out, come out, where ever you are.

A superb psychological horror that uses all of the components of film so effectively for a truly chilling film that has a lasting impact of you. All of the people Kubrick involved in this are truly working so well it’s like the creepiest well oiled machine.
