Licorice Pizza 2021
Alight… upon rewatch I have determined I like this movie much more than I did the first time. There is a charm that is undeniable in the film. The disjointedness of the plot of course is still a factor but overall much better viewing experience the second time.

For some reason I always just felt meh towards this film but on rewatch I was surprised just how much I absolutely am in love with everything about this movie.

Good movie, but halfway through, I realized this movie is basically Kung Fu Panda 3.
A protagonist with unknown roots goes back home because of a problem only to find a hidden village where he is from. In this secret and isolated village, they must train in order to defeat the antagonist of the film.Someone at Marvel really must love Kung Fu Panda.

I’ll preface my thoughts with the fact that I love Wes Anderson. His style and craft are part of the reason that I have such a fondness for cinema today. I find myself excited by every new movie he directs and this one is no exception. Do I believe this is his best film?
