Alight… upon rewatch I have determined I like this movie much more than I did the first time. There is a charm that is undeniable in the film. The disjointedness of the plot of course is still a factor but overall much better viewing experience the second time.

For some reason I always just felt meh towards this film but on rewatch I was surprised just how much I absolutely am in love with everything about this movie.

It makes me start to wonder what other movies I’ve just been completely wrong about.

No… I still maintain The Grand Budapest Hotel is his magnum opus stylistically, and Moonrise Kingdom his best storytelling. Despite this, The French Dispatch is by no means unenjoyable. It…

A charming drama and fresh look into the lives and actions of the famous Jim and Tammy Bakker scandal. The acting in this movie is incredible with both Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain’s performances as the highlight of this film. Both actors completely lose themselves to their roles and characters. Garfield has recently been demonstrating his versatility and may just be one of the most versatile male actors on the rise in Hollywood. The cinematography and directing were captivating in…
