I was completely left speechless after them credits rolled and you find out the aftermath of this whole situation. Wow.
Kaluuya and Lakeith are phenomenal in their roles and give career best performances here though thats hard to say about Lakeith. Regarding Kaluuya its probably my favourite in all honesty. That speech he gave was fantastic. What a performance. Both should most definitely be nominated and recognised for their amazing work in this movie. The supporting cast were great whenever they appeared on screen too. I really love Plemons and i seriously cannot WAIT for the day he gets the recognition he deserves. Its sad to see him always going under the radar in general.
There are only a couple of small issues (more nitpicks than issues in all honesty), but the main one i had was, whenever theres jumps in time, i wish that their physical appearance was handled a bit better, even small details would've been appreciated here.
Also, a couple scenes here & there could've been left out of the movie, although it was still a very fluid, well paced movie.
Loved the directing from King, the score & music accompanied the intensity and atmosphere perfectly of many scenes. The ending was a gut punch right to its core.
Powerful, captivating and certainly riveting.
Have a good feeling that this will stay in the top 10-15 of the year.
