The third installment of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise takes more of a fantasy influence than the previous.Dream Warriors is such a fresher concept than a traditional Slasher. With that said it isn't as good as the original, but it comes much closer than the previous film.
In Dream Warriors a group of kids who are having various dream related issues are being hunted by Freddy Krueger. This brings in Nancy Thompson from the original film to help them deal with Freddie once and for all.It feels like a good bookend to the original.
The only real flaws in this film is the bad characterization, and shitty dialogue, but as a whole it's a decent movie.
