Hitchcock/Truffaut ★★★

I had no idea how Kent Jones was going to make a film about the transcript of an interview, no matter how fascinating the interview. Turns out Kent Jones had no idea either, so he's knocked out a passable DVD extra in which Martin Scorsese and David Fincher talk about how great Vertigo and Psycho are. That's all very well if you've never watched any of Laurent Bouzereau's exhaustive docs on the Hitchcock DVDs, but it doesn't tell you much about the meeting of minds which the film's title rather confidently implies it's going to investigate.
