If Cabin in the Woods and Pulp Fiction got together, adopted The Good Place and raised it as their own shrimp-loving baby, the result would be something close to this. It is good stuff.
The concert scenes are really well shot, Gaga is fantastic, and...wait, Andrew Dice Clay is in this? And plays a supportive dad who's really sweet? Are we gonna get a late-stage Andrew Dice Renaissance? Anyway, I'm for it. The last third of the film drags a bit, but the first hour, especially, is good stuff.
