We ★★½

A summer odyssey in four parts, told from four different perspectives.

A group of morally corrupt teenagers engage in weird sex games and provocative art projects in order to escape ordinary life. Needless to say, things escalate quickly.
It seems like director Rene Eller tries to be a little bit edgy and smart with this one, but it doesn’t work for me. His use of explicit sex scenes, having the girls saying ”I’m free and in control of my body, I decide what to do with it” just comes off as him being sleazy.
It’s a disturbing flick in many ways, but I still wanted to know what would happen in the next scene. In that respect, it kind of works, but most of the time I was just annoyed with these fucked up kids.

Nice try, though. It certainly is different and I will definitely check his next film.
