Matt 🔪’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hi I usually hate all Spider-Man interpretations outside of the Raimi trilogy but this was fucking amazing and sometimes there’s nothing more to say than that. Sometimes, a movie is just special. And this movie is really special. Spider-Verse not only captures the magic of Spidey, it nails my favorite theme in superhero myths - the idea that our shortcomings and peculiarities are actually what make us strong, and even set us above the rest. Suffice to say, watching Miles embrace his own distinct brand of heroism and swing triumphantly through the sky, I was in tears.
Also the fact that Peter’s house is identical to the one from the Raimi films... 😭😭
