Matt 🔪’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not sure why I love watching horror movies when I’m down, but this one really hit the spot. This is, dare I say, a future cult classic in the making? The Strangers: Prey At Night is far superior to “elevated horror” bullshit like A Quiet Place. Johannes Roberts, whose other films I haven’t watched as of yet, fucking brings it, delivering a post-post-modern slasher masterpiece replete with solid characters, strong acting, truly scary villains, and piss-your-pants brutal kills.
