An obese English teacher tries to reconnect with his daughter after he comes to terms with his own mortality. Not Aranofsky's best, but still a very good movie carried by Brendan Fraser's amazing performance.

The Shape of Water 2017
Another miss from Guillermo Del Toro. Along with Three Billboards this is one of the most overrated films of the year. Pan's Labyrinth & Crimson Peak were much better than this wannabe 1960's Jean-Pierre Jeunet meets Tim Burton knock off. Feels like it was made by a teenager obsessed with sex and violence that's trapped in the body of a middle-aged man who still believes in fairy tales.
