Win It All ★★★

They may not be anything profound but I love Joe Swanberg & Jake Johnson in anything they do. As usual, the film is free-flowing without much plot, but that's what I love about this duo. It's all about the characters and Johnson's ability to render great performances that I love seeing over and over again.

The film's ideas of starting over - and the irony that you're addiction helps you get there - is really compelling. My only major complaint is how the climax unfolds, which does contrive drama by forcing Eddie into a position that felt out of character based on where he was in that moment. Outside of that, I enjoyed the experience, despite Swanberg's ability to stress me out any time he can.
