The irony of them coming out of 'Return of the Jedi' and Jean Grey lamenting that we can all agree the third film is always the worst in the trilogy, being a subtle dig a Brett Ratner's involvement, when its equally applicable to this one too.
Late to the party on this but what an exceptional film.
I'm quite fond of a narrative that has the conviction to limit its story to one place or event. Carnage is another good example where the story is solely driven by the characters with no superfluous sub plots or distractions.
Can anyone recommend similar narratively driven movies like this?
