Every Spike Lee film I have seen has floored me with the power of his voice. He is so dedicated to beliefs and is a master at conveying them through cinema. Watching his work makes me want to be stronger in my convictions, to do more than I currently do for what I believe in.

The Lighthouse 2019
This an insane, horrific, beautiful experience of a film centred on two incredible performances from Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe. An absolute whirlwind of horror counterbalanced by some really funny moments and some (kind of) heartwarming stuff.
I loved the use of mythology and the constantly changing sense of reality. The blurring of myth and mental state was super interesting.
I feel like this could be interpreted in many ways and am super keen to read all about it and chat with people. Just a great experience.

Loved the more out there horror and Raimi parts but the film as a whole is a bit meh, some cool moments and some ‘big’ moments that totally fell flat
