never has there been a more emilia toppjohnson (my sister)-core sequence than when the monkey king starts piling up holy peach pits.
better viewing its second time!

this kind of made me want to have a baby or at least dress in more eastern orthodox drip
love that some of the guys are on bikes, that really adds texture. I will say I found a lot of it really confusing, certainly all the car talk was a bust. wouldn't really say this movie has an "ending' in the traditional sense.
many of my housemates were saying that the cars would look different now, to which I say "huh"?
absolutely infested with honeys
thought it would be animated... imagine my surprise when the opening scene was so historical! then imagine my delight when an animated lizard monster appeared.
some thoughts on the characters:
the tooth girl was super hot
didn't get why the australian (?) guy was so racist
the main guy's wife and daughter are unbelievably chill
all in all I thought it went by pretty quickly. felt great to be back in a theater, my first time since going to trylon with my parents winter break 2019 :)
