My girlfriend walked in and was like "what are you watching" and I said "Brittany Runs A Marathon" and she said "What's it about?" and we had a good laugh
I revisit this one every now and then just to make sure it's as good as I remember it and it absolutely is. Don't let Youtube poisoning force you to apply action movie logic to this thing, the last 45 minutes of this movie are perfect. A masterpiece about grief/depression and how it can consume and change us. Grief is a shimmer, you enter into it and find yourself either consumed, destroyed, or changed forever. And those who manage escape intact will still quietly carry a part of that grief inside them. What a fucking movie, man.
