I don't see how anyone could think this cliche ridden tripe was good. It and the characters exist just to exist. Tired, even Samuel L Jackson makes you yawn in this. If Kong: Skull Island actually had some direction and character development I might have cared. Just feels like someone playing in a sandbox.
Seems nobody likes fun anymore, because you couldn't have made this film any better. The 1946 version is amazing and so is this live action retelling, with a rearranged score by Alan Menken and new songs. The cast completely knocks it out of the park. Emma Watson's Belle is enchanting and it turns out she has an outstanding singing voice. The supporting cast is enthralling especially Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as LeFou.
