Missing is a powerful & devastating political drama that becomes more and more agonizing as the film goes on. Based on the true story of the search of an American journalist who disappeared during the U.S. government-sponsored Chilean coup in 1973. Jack Lemmon gives one of his best performances.

This movie won Palme d'Or at the 1982 Cannes Film Festival but was banned in Chile and denounced by U.S. State Department.

Not as great as other John McTiernan movies but I enjoyed this more than McQueen's original. Fun, stylish & sexy remake. The chemistry between Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo is fire. And the opening & closing heist sequences are so cool.

Such a gripping real-life horror series. Most impressed how so many scenes manage to take a threat that's totally invisible and make it feel tangible. It's interesting like documentary, has tension like a horror movie and feels a bit like retro-scifi, even though it's all, you know, real.

The epic end chapter that closes a mighty legacy in the best way possible. A tribute to the fans, a love letter, a song of gratitude.
