Nakul’s review published on Letterboxd:
Shaka King’s Judas and the Black Messiah is a compelling, tightly scripted & electrifying historical drama/thriller about William O’Neal’s infiltration of the black panther party led by Fred Hampton. Sean Bobbitt's cinematography and score by Craig Harris and Mark Isham are top-notch. The cast delivers knockout one performance after another. LaKeith Stanfield & Jesse Plemons are great. And Daniel fucking Kaluuya.. A powerhouse as Fred Hampton. What a screen presence. A performance (which I hope he gets an Oscar for) that will be talked about for years to come.
