We don’t talk enough about how great & under-discussed this cyberpunk noir thriller is, and we should. Kathryn Bigelow's finest accomplishment to me. Bigelow goes on to deliver a movie that is not only rich in visual detail but offers a dark & increasing relevant storyline and builds the tension to unbearable levels during the final reel.
Angela Bassett is just amazing all the way through. She plays one of the best action heroines of all time in this film & yet rarely acknowledged for it.
