hell yes, so incredibly nerdy. return of the mid budget blockbuster. such a fluke that this dropped the week the writer’s strike ended. technically, so much new ground is broken it’s insane, sony fx3 and no green screen to name two mind blowing factors. deserves the vfx oscar no doubt. JDW further solidifying his stature as modern day action star. loved the wide aspect ratio. definitely too long and too many coincidences in the script. i know hideo kojima is going to be in an ecstatic mood after seeing this. radiohead needledrop had me levitating

these are very cool and experimental so far, only the kind of filmmaking that a streaming service would allow. i like the unison of ralph fiennes playing roald dahl in each one, and the timing of that space heater is super satisfying
