Treasure: My Favorite Films from Each Year of My Lifetime

I totally stole this idea from Elijah Davidson, who made a list in which he chose one film for each year of his life.

But mine is a little more ambitious. I've included all of the films, year by year, that I would designate as "treasure" — the cream of the crop, the films I will go on revisiting, the films I'd place on the top shelf of my personal movie library.

If I didn't find any "treasure" in a particular year — like 1970 — I've included the titles that impress me most from that year, just so no year goes unmentioned.
